Richards was first found in Yorkshire where they held a family seat at Harfield. Being of ancient Lords Of the Manor of Ricard. Over on the Isle of Wight in Yaverland. A small branch of Richards Family was found. They moved from the Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom over to the Netherlands and then to England. Our ancestors went back to the Netherlands where they immigrated to American. Below is one of the castles or mansions of the Russells, subsequently of the Richards family.
