This section of a book has all family members from back in the medieval days. This is just 94 of hundreds. Most of the ancestors on here are also in the Mayfield, Richards & Thomas family also. Between the years 1200 to the year 1350 you have some of the greatest families in history in our families. The family name of Wallace, Bruce, FitzJames, MacDuibhn, Douglas, Crawford, Stewart, Lauder, James, Erskine, Keith & Menteith just to name a few. All of these names can be found in all 4 families. You will see I went back on research (BEFORE CHRIST). I have several records going back that far.
You can also see where the family Henderson’s came from and its Clan history. The Clan started in the 1400’s. Back then Henderson was spelled (Henryson). The Henderson’s came by way of the Shetlands and Ulster. The Henderson Clan emerged as the Henderson’s of Caithness. As of today (2021) Dr John William Philp Henderson of Fordell is Chief of Clan Henderson. He was recognized in 1985 as Chief of the Baronial House of Henderson of Fordell & Chief of the Name and Arms of Henderson.
Henderson went back or were born at Fordell Castle. It was and still is located today at Dalgety Bay, Dunfermline in Fife, Scotland. (See Below)
